I found this article (or rant) on how to make the Segway obselete:

http://maddox.xmission.com/c.cgi?u=segway_more_complicated_than_it_needs_to_be

The there's a link towards the bottom of that article for the more technically inclined out there:

Forget restoring that pool table I've got a new hobby!!

You DARE to even think about scrapping the pool table restoration plans? Where am I going to sleep when I come back to Adelaide, now?

Our dog doesn't use its kennel anymore, you could have that if you want.

BTW did anyone else notice that yesterday there was a site record for most users online at once.
Thats pretty impressive.

Well, I have used a kennel before... I'm sure we've all heard the story of me drinking a lot of Tequila at some party and waking up in a kennel with a half-eaten chicken, and not remembering how I got there (not that I generally remember anything when I drink Tequila).

I just love the story about the time you dropped acid and then the next morning you found a creepy note to yourself that just had laughter!

Yeah, that was a bit more worrying... I mean, I've never done substances... not once... honest.

Engineers designed the "meshes in the gearbox to produce sound exactly two musical octaves apart."

How boring... I'd want mine to play a Db Dom 11 #5 #9 arpeggio.

I love that in the 'Make your own...' article that the deadman switch failed to work properly. The guy falls off and is meant to unplug the ignition or something but instead the cord tears and the wires were still touching.
