Sorry, Nintendo of Australia. How can you hate a company with customer service foremost in their mind?
I got this message from Nintendo of Australia at 10:22pm last night, whilst at the pub:
As a nintendo.com.au member, we thought you’ll want to be the 1st to know the Wii will arive in Aus on Dec 7th for SRP AU$399.95.
It helped that I was mildly tipsy at the time, but it certainly brought a smile to my face. Sure, the price is about $70 more than I expected, but I’ll get over that. At least the damn thing is coming out before Christmas - or, as you’ll notice from the above picture, in 82 days.
In slightly less positive news, the Wii is apparently not region free - GamesIndustry is reporting that Nintendo UK has corrected yesterday’s US based statement, commenting simply that “We are region-locked”.
